To sněžení před čelem lokomotivy je prach zvířený jízdou vlaku?

Ten prach je létající chmýří z různé vegetace.

tunel je krátký a standardním teleobjektivem se dá snadno "prostřelit" aniž by autor musel stát uvnitř

Já byl asi 15m od druhého portalu, tj. venku. V tunelu byl pouze šotouš na snímku :).
